Truck parts
Truck parts are available from a variety of manufacturers and satisfy the desires of the vehicle owner for beauty, safety, and functionality. In prior years, parts were always purchased from the major car manufacturers. Today, there are almost countless makers of parts. From alternators to catalytic converters, truck parts can be purchased more economically from third party vendors.
In years past, truck manufacturers heavily advised owners to use only genuine parts from the manufacturer. However, things have changed. Today, one can shop, especially on the Internet, and find high quality parts from a variety of makers. If one doesn’t like the price or color availability from one retailer it is very easy to just contact another dealer for more options.
Truck parts differ from car parts because of the different functions of both vehicles. For instance, one would not put a car suspension under a working truck because the car suspension would not be able to carry heavier loads. Likewise, one would not put passenger car tires on an off-road pickup.
